“When I first started working with Sharon, she was so overwhelmed she couldn’t make any decisions, but now she knows exactly what she wants. It’s been amazing to watch her grow into herself,” said her KDVA Economic Justice Advocate, Kathy Lane-Barber. Sharon filed for bankruptcy shortly after she left her husband. She is now managing her own finances, has a solid credit score, has secured rental housing, and has started college to work towards her Bachelor’s degree.
