Program Associate
CBA is looking to hire a full-time Program Associate to support CBA with the following activities:

CBA Reporter and/or CBA Access: Associate will support the delivery of our CBA Reporter and CBA Access services. The right candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills as well as superb problem solving and analytical skills to enable them to provide technical assistance, share “best practices”, and respond to a wide variety of credit reporting inquiries in a timely and professional manner while supporting the growth of our internal and external business systems. Successful candidates will also have strong computer skills. Knowledge of loan accounting software, client management systems and other database programs a plus!

Financial Capability Training: Associate will support the development, expansion and delivery of our successful and innovative “Credit is an Asset,” “Credit Outcome” and “Credit Builder 5-Step” training of trainers (TOT) activities. Responsibilities include developing training tools and content, developing marketing materials, coordinating training event logistics, providing consultations to members, implementing pre and post surveys, supporting members to measure credit outcomes, analyzing data, and drafting impact reports.

Research: Associate will have excellent research and writing skills and will be responsible for developing concept papers, research papers and practitioner tools identifying, clarifying and providing information to practitioners and policymakers on nonprofit credit building and credit builder loans.
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY ATTRIBUTES:
All successful Program Associate candidate(s) will demonstrate capacity in one or more of the core responsibilities listed above as well as demonstrate the following attributes:
- Excellent listening and customer service skills, preferably with experience working with non-profit and for-profit entities.
- Hunger to learn and excel professionally.
- Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
- Positive attitude: looking for the opportunity in every situation.
- Highly organized, attentive to detail and deadlines, systems-oriented.
- Ability to balance multiple complex and competing responsibilities while under pressure.
- Strong interest in the content of CBA’s work. The successful candidate will be genuinely interested in economic development and furthering the work of non-profit organizations providing just financial services.
Compensation: CBA compensates all Associates and Interns.

Volunteer/Intern
We are always looking for individuals to volunteer or intern at CBA. CBA provides educational opportunities for business, law, social work and other interested students at graduate and undergraduate levels. Students learn credit building, micro-enterprise and homeownership strategies, and assist staff with research and special projects. We create projects for our volunteers and interns that are interesting and that use their valuable skills and experiences as much as possible.
If you are seeking a position as a volunteer intern, please submit your resume and a short letter explaining how you heard about CBA, your interest in working with CBA, characteristics or skills you possess you would like to share with CBA, and what you would like to gain or do through CBA. Interns must commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week and a minimum of 200 hours.
