Micro-Credit Reporting Manager
Supervisor: The Micro-Credit Reporting Manager will be hired and supervised by the Director of Program Operations.

About CBA: Credit Builders Alliance is an innovative non-profit social enterprise offering solutions for U.S. microfinance and financial education organizations that help underbanked families and communities in the U.S. to access affordable business and consumer credit that helps them build assets and economic self-sufficiency.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a key management position in a fast-paced, growing organization of 5-7 staff. The Micro-Credit Reporting Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing the operations of CBA’s products and services to non-profit organizations. This individual will have the opportunity to provide technical assistance and learn from 100 plus leading non-profit community based organizations across the country every month and will play a leadership role in developing strategies to expand membership and new product lines. The right candidate will demonstrate superb customer services skills when responding to inquiries and providing non-profits with technical assistance. He/She will successfully learn the computer programs required for relationship management, compile and track data, maintain open communication channels with credit bureaus, understand “best-practices” as they relate to microlending, stay up to date with federal legislation concerning credit reporting consumer rights and protection, and other aspects relevant to serving our non-profit members.
The successful candidate will be genuinely interested in supporting community-based non-profit organizations and have the creativity, flexibility and understanding to support the financial literacy training and microfinance lending work of CBA’s member organizations and target market.
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY ATTRIBUTES:
The position requires someone with demonstrated experience in the core responsibilities listed above, as well as demonstrated success in the following areas:
- Excellent listening and customer service skills, preferably with experience working with non-profit and for-profit entities.
- Strong working knowledge of computer business applications, including Microsoft Office, client management systems and databases (i.e. Salesforce, Access). Knowledge of microloan accounting software is a plus!
- Hunger to learn and excel professionally.
- Strong problem and trouble shooting skills is a must.
- Positive attitude, looking for the opportunity in every situation.
- Highly organized, attentive to detail and deadlines, systems-oriented.
- Ability to balance multiple complex and competing responsibilities while under pressure.
- Strong interest in content of CBA’s work. Familiarity with the political and economic issues that affect the lives of people living in poverty in the United States and/or familiarity with microfinance, financial education and credit a plus.
- Bachelors degree and/or Master degree in business administration, marketing or public policy, or equivalent work experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to travel (estimated 2-3 domestic trips per year).

Compensation: Title and salary commensurate with experience plus Medical/Flexible Spending, 403(b) matched pension plan and fringe benefits; participation in unemployment and worker's compensation and social security, participation in merit bonus program.

Volunteer/Intern
We are always looking for individuals to volunteer or intern at CBA. CBA provides educational opportunities for business, law, social work and other interested students at graduate and undergraduate levels. Students learn credit building, micro-enterprise and homeownership strategies, and assist staff with research and special projects. We create projects for our volunteers and interns that are interesting and that use their valuable skills and experiences as much as possible.
